Cable Bridge Non-destructive Testing on Qingshui River Suspension Bridge of Chengdu
Chengdu Qingshui River Bridge is the first suspension bridge in Chengdu and the first self-anchored suspension bridge in Southwest China.
The total length of the bridge is 342 meters, with a 55-meter-tall pale yellow tower, 4 orange main cables and 104 white cables.
It is located on the Qingshui River on the 2nd Ring Road in Chengdu.
The bridge has been in service for more than a decade since it was officially opened in 2007.
In order to ensure that the cables of the bridge can continue to work under safe conditions,
BECOT testing engineers carried the bridge cable non-destructive testing equipment to the site to carry out professional non-destructive testing services for all the main cables of the bridge.
After three nights of work, the technicians completed the testing of 24 bridge cables.
On July 14, the inspection mission was finished completely. The test results are recognized and highly praised by customers.
